Terms of use
Last updated
These terms cover the RoamPin website, the free Schengen 90/180 calculator and the RoamPin app. The most important point is the second section: this is a planning tool, not advice.
What RoamPin is
RoamPin is a travel-day tracking and planning tool. It applies the published Schengen 90/180 rule to dates you provide and shows the result, along with related guidance written for general readers.
It is not a government service, is not affiliated with the European Union or any member state, and does not process visa applications.
Not legal or immigration advice
Nothing on this website or in the app is legal or immigration advice, and no result it produces creates any entitlement to enter or remain in any country.
Border officers decide individual cases on the facts in front of them. National rules, bilateral agreements, visas and residence permits can all change how your days are counted. Always confirm your own position with official sources or a qualified adviser before relying on it.
Accuracy
We take the calculation seriously: the engine implements the rolling 180-day rule day by day and is covered by an automated test suite. Even so, the answer can only ever be as accurate as the dates you enter.
Guidance on this site describes the rules as we understand them at the date shown on each page. Rules change — the Entry/Exit System and ETIAS being recent examples — and we cannot guarantee that every page reflects the position at the moment you read it.
Acceptable use
- Use the site and the app for your own travel planning, or on behalf of someone who has asked you to.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent its security, or extract its content at scale by automated means.
- Do not present RoamPin output as an official determination of your immigration status.
Liability
The website and the free calculator are provided as they are, without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the results — including refused entry, fines, penalties or missed travel.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Intellectual property
The RoamPin name, design, written guides and software are ours. You are welcome to link to any page, quote briefly with attribution, and share results you generate.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.
